Richmond upon Thames Wedding Fairs

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is a South London borough (South West London sub-region) forming part of Outer London, which itself is part of the Ceremonial County of Greater London. The borough was formed in 1965 by merging the Surrey Municipal Borough of Richmond and the Surrey Municipal Borough of Barnes from Surrey with the Middlesex Municipal Borough of Twickenham. The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames's administrative headquarters are in Twickenham and local postcodes include SW and TW. The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is the eight largest of the 32 London boroughs by area and is the only borough to have districts on both the north and south sides of the Thames. The borough has over 100 parks and open spaces including Bushey Park, Hampton Court Park, Richmond Park (Europe's largest urban park) and Kew Gardens, as well as over 20 miles of Thames river frontage.
As of 2011 it has the highest average annual income of any London boroughs. The borough is twinned with Richmond, Virginia in the United States, Konstanz in Germany and Fontainebleau in France
The town of Richmond forms part of the borough and was formerly part of Surrey. Richmond was originally called the 'Manor of Sheen', but its name was changed by Henry VII to that of his earldom in Yorkshire. Richmond Park is the largest of the Royal Parks in the London area and coveres a staggering two and a half thousand acres. Richmond's development as a suberb of London was accelerated rapidy by the arrival of the railway in 1846.
